2022 Show

The 2022 WMPA is in the books. It was a little over a 200 bird show and Mark Newby acted as open show judge. The Rare Breeds club had a decent sized meet of 57 birds. This was also the Jim Wabeke memorial show and his family was in attendance. He will be greatly missed. Here are the results of the open show:

  • "Best of Show" - Black Fantail, Noah Shields

  • Best Rare Breed - Galatian High Flyer, Kyle Metiva

  • Best Flying - Blue bar Homer, Isaac Hoeksema

  • Best Utility - Dilute Giant Homer, Brad DeWys

  • Best Small Class - White Old German Owl, Philip Huizinga

  • Best Oriental Roller - Brown grizzle, Philip Huizinga

  • Best Komorner Tumbler - Yellow magpie, Tim England

  • Best Birmingham Roller - Red, Hector Marroquin

  • Best Junior and reserve - Racing Homers, Ayers clan

  • Best Pouter - Black Reversewing, Dirk Williamson

I would just like to say what a WONDERFUL show it was this year, and if you attended then you are part of creating that wonderful. I hope to see you all again next year!
