The Western Michigan Pigeon Association is planning its next show for Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Drenthe Community Grove in Drenthe Michigan (see map above. Note this is the SECOND Saturday of November, due to a conflict with the National Young Bird Show that chose our normal "First Saturday of November" date.) Our show is free and open to the public. For exhibitors, the entry form may be downloaded from the bottom of this page. The United Oriental Roller Association and the Rare Breeds Club will be showing with us this year! The Komorner Tumbler Assoication may also be joining our show as well. If you are a club interested in meeting with us Contact Us and we can get you the details.
If you wish to be an exhibitor and have any questions about entering birds, please feel free to Contact Us as well and we will try and help in any way we can.
Show setup is at 7:30 AM (we could really use some help here), check-in starts at 8:30 AM, and judging will begin at 10:00 AM. Contact us if you want to help or check out our Facebook page for updates.
Mark Newby will be this year's open show judge. Admission is free and open to the public. If you plan on showing, there is a $3.00 entry fee per bird for the open show and $4.00 for anyone showing with the other clubs. If you are planning on selling birds in our sale section, you must have at least one bird entered in our show. Sale cage info will be on the entry form. Juniors (14 years old or under at the time of the show) are highly encouraged to show, with rosettes awarded for Junior Champion and Junior Reserve Champion. Stan Osterbaan will provide a $15 award for Best Fancy. Doreen Lampe will provide a $15 award for Champion Junior and $10 for Reserve Champion Junior. Philip Huizinga will provide a $10 award to Best Oriental Roller.
Finally, if you would consider bringing something for our raffle it would be greatly appreciated. More raffle items, more winners!
We hope to see you all there!
